HOGAN, HEATHER PAULINE MARY - February 6, 1964 - October 25, 2009 - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heather Pauline Mary Hogan of Cold Lake, Alberta, formerly of Miramichi, NB. Heather passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Cold Lake, Alberta Medical Center. She will be missed by all. Heather was born February 6, 1964. She is the daughter, of Norine (Fletcher) Hogan and the late William A. (Bill) Hogan. She is survived by her son, Gregory Hogan, her partner, Kathy Ivany and her granddaughter, Haylie Hogan, all of Cold Lake, Alberta. Survived as well by her sister, Carolyn (Harold) Simmons of Miramichi, and three brothers, Bill (Heather) Hogan of Woodstock, NB, Sean (Kelly) Hogan of Moncton, NB, Patrick (Terri) Hogan of Miramichi, NB. As well, she is survived by her nephew, Sean Hogan and her nieces, Meaghan Hogan, Haylie and Lauren Simmons and Katelyn and Sophie Hogan. As well as, many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Heather was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces having served in Summerside, PEl; Cornwallis, NS; Cold Lake, Alberta; and Aviano, Italy. Heather was a member of the Physical Education Branch of the Canadian Armed Forces and remustered to Constructional Engineers as a Structural Tech. Heather had a passion for life that she shared with everyone who knew her. She enjoyed sports, camping and cherished spending time with her family and friends. Heather Hogan is resting at Maher's Funeral Home Miramichi, NB on Thursday, October 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 29th at 11 am from St Michael's Basilica with Fr John Fraser officiating. Interment will be in St Michael's Cemetery.
